In this episode, you are going to learn about the Russian Revolution of 1917. The chain of events in this episode of history not only led to the creation of the Soviet Union, but it also created the first communist state in the world at the time. the rise of communism as a political belief started to gain more traction as the ideas regarding communism as a political ideology. This episode goes in depth on the situation of Imperial Russia before the revolution, the 1905 Revolution and the 1917 Revolution which eventually led to the creation of the Soviet Union with Lenin as its dictatorial head. I really enjoyed doing my research for this episode as learning about this topic surrounding the rise of communism during the 20th century really started to interest me.
