The final part of our December contest in search for a 2020 intern came to a screeching halt early in this weeks recording as all hell broke loose in the studio between the interns and instructors. When the smoke cleared only hip hop pioneer Tragedy Khadafi and a bottle of Vodkila remained in studio. As the Vodkila was passed around we pulled as many gems out of Khadafi as we could about his career and work on one of the most legendary albums in hip hop history,  #TheWarReport. #TRSNews reporter cohost of the "True Era Show" and journalist Shu Banga premiered her first segment showcased songs by a few of her favorite indie artists.
