As Christians, we need to adopt an attitude of submission to ultimately show honor to God.

1 Peter 2:11-12 (ESV) Be careful how you speak and act because the world is watching, and you need to live a life that glorifies God.

1 Peter 2:13-18 (ESV) Peter tells us to honor authority.

• Submission is a choice.
• Romans 13:1-2, 7 (ESV)

God will not ever raise you up until you learn to bow down.

• 1 Peter 5:5b-6 (ESV)

God will never call you to lead until He can trust you to follow.

• Until you know the restraint of the spirit, you’ll never know the release of the spirit.
