Small Town, Big Personalities

The Saga of Queertopia

Listen Later

Only in the eclectic urban jungle Brooklyn, New York could you find a mansion filled with a polycule of queer vegan white collar software engineers and political anarchists dedicated to tearing down capitalism and social injustice in the most combative of ways.

This mythical place was called Queertopia, where I lived a good portion of my quarantine. It was the first destination on my road to re-defining purpose, and inspired me to mold wall street in a way that empowered my LGBTQ+ community.

But this positive reclaiming of my life purpose came at a high cost of soured friendships, falling out of love, and a tragic loss of life.
