Pastor Jason continues the Solas series with Sola Fide, faith alone, working through Acts 14. Paul heals a man in Lystra who had never walked, and the crowd decides Paul and Barnabas must be gods. Days later the same crowd stones Paul and drags him out of the city, thinking he’s dead. He gets up and walks right back in. Faith isn’t a virtue we hold up as our own. It’s a gift that takes hold of what Christ has done, and it says what Pastor Jason kept coming back to: Lord, take my hand and lead me upon life’s way.

Drawing from John 21, Pastor Tim Niekerk walks through what happened between Jesus and Peter on the shore after the resurrection. When we fail, the instinct is to file ourselves under damaged goods and assume God is keeping score. Jesus meets Peter at a charcoal fire, the same kind of fire Peter stood beside when he denied him three times. He doesn’t use it to shame him. He asks three times, “Do you love me?” and hands Peter a calling in place of his guilt. Shame looks backward. Restoration looks forward. The work is finished, the debt is canceled, and there’s something for you to do today.

What if the weight of your guilt could be lifted by one resounding "absolutely" from God? In John 21, Jesus finds a shame-filled Peter beside a charcoal fire, the same kind of fire where Peter had denied him. Jesus doesn't come to reopen the wound. He comes to heal it, and he gives Peter his calling back. Pastor Jason walks through God's absolution, his solution to our sin problem, grounded in Romans 5's promise that Christ died for us while we were still his enemies. If you're carrying shame, or struggling to forgive someone who's hurt you, this message is for you.

Peter walked on water. Peter also denied Jesus three times. In this message from "The Forgiving Challenge," Pastor Tim takes an honest look at both sides of that story and what it tells us about sin. Sin is bigger than missing the mark by a little. It's something every one of us lives with, and it points us straight to our need for a Savior. The good news is that God doesn't wait for us to hit the bullseye. He comes after us right in the middle of our failure. The things you've been hiding might be exactly where freedom starts.

Rahab had a past nobody in Jericho would have bragged about. In this final message of the Good Neighboring series, Pastor Jason walks through her story: a woman who hid two Israelite spies, struck a daring bargain and ended up in the genealogy of Jesus. The spies told her "our lives for yours." Jesus says the same thing to us. It's an encouraging, practical look at what it means to love the neighbors right in front of you.
