Tonight’s episode begins with a warning:
Do not repeat any prayer you hear. Do not drink water if your tongue is dry.

Sealed behind a wall in an old Alpine inn, a journal dated 1882 is discovered—its pages bound in oilcloth, stained with salt, and marked by rituals meant to keep something fed. Etienne Valmont’s account details his deliveries to a remote abbey where the sisters survive by one rule alone: never let the salt run out.

But the journal is only the beginning.

The second story brings us to Mercer Street, where the darkness doesn’t arrive suddenly—it learns. Streetlights go dark without breaking. Shadows appear where light no longer reaches. And people begin to disappear from their homes, leaving behind open doors, unmade beds, and half-drunk glasses of water.

These are not ghost stories.
They are warnings.
