The Same Grace and Baptism Is Available to Us Gentiles
Acts 11: 15-18, 26
In this chapter, we learn how Peter shared with the early church in Jerusalem that the same Holy Spirit who descended on them at Pentecost also fell on the Gentiles in the house of Cornelius. God revealed to Peter in a vision that what He had declared clean should not be considered unholy. Just as God extended grace to the circumcised in Jerusalem, He also granted this same grace to the uncircumcised Gentiles.
It’s important to understand that the grace given to the Jews is also available to us Gentiles, both then and now. Therefore, if you repent and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit—who is part of the Trinity—can baptize you. The Holy Spirit will also guide your life along the right path.
