Now the news: California has declared a state of emergency over the coronavirus. So far, 12 counties have cases of COVID-19, and it has already sickened 50 people. One Californian has died so far. Placer County Public Health officials announced that the deceased had tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from a cruise to Mexico last month.
