In Episode 2 of the Sandbar Podcast, we’re giving you a behind-the-scenes look at what’s been happening at Sandbar Development over the past six months. As we continue growing as a luxury home builder and developer in Greater Arizona, we’re also expanding deeper into the ultra-luxury spec development market in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, and there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.
We’re also officially introducing Brady as a Sandbar partner and talking about how the three of us came together, what each of us brings to the table, and why we believe the right partnerships can completely change the trajectory of a business. From raising more than $20 million across our first three funded developments to building relationships with some of the best architects, designers, trades, and industry professionals in Arizona, we’ve learned that success at this level takes an entire team.
One of the biggest themes of this episode is something we believe strongly in: relationships over transactions. We talk about the power of providing value without always expecting something in return, surrounding yourself with people who genuinely want to see you succeed, and why an abundance mindset can benefit an entire industry. We also get into reputation, integrity, mentorship, and why we’re not afraid to root for the people we technically compete with.
We’re building some incredibly ambitious projects right now, and this episode gives you a glimpse into the mindset, relationships, and strategy behind them.

Welcome to the very first episode of The Sandbar Podcast. We’re excited to finally launch something we’ve been talking about for a long time and give you a behind-the-scenes look at who we are, how we built Sandbar Development, and what it really takes to grow a luxury custom home building company.
In this episode, we share a bit of our story, from founding the company just a few years ago to building a team, scaling the business, and creating a brand that reflects our vision for the future. We talk about why our partnership works, despite coming from completely different backgrounds, and how those differences have become one of our greatest strengths.
We also dive into our approach to custom home building, why we believe transparency and communication are essential, and how we strive to create an experience that challenges many of the negative stereotypes surrounding construction. Along the way, we share lessons we’ve learned through mistakes, growth, hiring, leadership, and building a company culture that puts people first.
You’ll also get a sneak peek at some of the incredible projects we’re currently working on. Whether you’re interested in building a custom home, growing a business, or simply getting to know the people behind Sandbar Development, this episode is the perfect place to start.
We’re glad you’re here, and we can’t wait to bring you along for the journey.
