In this episode of The Sarah Renee Show, I'm beginning a new series on healing from abuse- a tender topic that I have personally experienced and have helped many of my clients navigate and heal from over the years. We're starting with one of the most important steps in healing- recognizing and validating what happened, or what may still be happening.

We'll explore the signs and cycles of verbal, emotional, physical, and narcissistic abuse, including trauma bonds, manipulation, and why these patterns can be so difficult to recognize. I'll also share how God has shown me the signs and effects of abuse in the spirit world, what Scripture says about abuse, and the first steps toward healing, freedom, and reclaiming your life- including a powerful prayer to begin your healing with God.

Whether you're currently navigating a harmful relationship or experienced abuse years ago and are ready to heal more deeply, this episode reminds you that there is hope. You can heal, reclaim your spirit and your life, and become fully alive again!!! 🤍

Here is the prayer I wrote for you- "Jesus, I come to You today and ask You to be my refuge and my safe place. You see everything I have experienced, including the things I have been afraid to acknowledge or speak about. You promise to be near to the brokenhearted, to hear me when I cry out, and to be a stronghold for the oppressed. Jesus, please deliver me from anything that harming me and give me the courage, wisdom, and support I need to walk toward safety and freedom. Heal the places within me that have been wounded. Restore my peace, my confidence, my voice, and my sense of who I am. Help me release the shame, fear, confusion, and lies I have carried and replace them with Your love and truth. Remind me that I am precious to You, that I am worthy of love and respect, and that I do not have to walk through this healing alone. Jesus, lead me into greater freedom, safety, healing, and peace, one step at a time. Amen."

You are never alone. God has lovingly assigned each of us a guardian angel to walk beside us throughout our lives, yet many of us rarely recognize their presence or understand the beautiful role they play in His plan for us.
