Oppression is a topic often covered in video games, but rarely by those who have direct experience of it. Romanian developers Sand Sailor Studio decided to create Black the Fall to offer up their personal take on what life is like when living under an all powerful state. Topics covered include how the narrative informed the design of Black the Fall as well as the time consuming effort required to develop a puzzle led title that is low on frustration.
