In this edition of POSTBURNOUT.COM Interviews…, we speak with Evan Walsh. Evan is the former drummer of the successful Cavan band The Strypes and is currently the bassist for The Savage Hearts. Evan tells us of how The Savage Hearts began, how their music differs from his other projects, their new single “Silver Locket,” how his time on a major label with The Strypes influenced him to go down an independent route with this venture, working with the Galway-based indie label Blowtourch Records, record collecting, supporting Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys, and much more.
