This episode is the first in a series called Special Operations Forces Throughout the World.  Created in the 1950s, this elite special operations unit is the oldest surviving in the Israeli Defense Forces.  

Sayeret Matkal operators have participated in some of the most intense and bloody battles since the modern country of Israel was established.  Due to their extreme secrecy, many of their operations will never be known.  They stand as a testament to the audacity and courage of the only democratic nation in the middle east, the State of Israel.
