Martin Luther said, “It is as though God intended for people to hear this genealogy and say to themselves: Christ is the kind of person who is not ashamed of sinners, see, he even puts them in his family tree.”

If you’re tempted to think, “I’ve messed up too much, my sin is too bad, God cannot use someone who has done what I’ve done.” I hope you hear Jesus say, “Look at my family! You have no idea what I can do with absolutely anyone who is willing to open up their life to me.”
