On 17th February we chatted with County legend Sean Connelly in the VITA Bar at County.

We chat about his professional and playing career, of course Danny Bergara, other managers he's played under, the Coca Cola cup run of 96/97, plus his favourite County moment.

A huge thanks to County for allowing us to use the VITA Bar. They are kindly allowing us to use other locations around Edgeley Park for our special events, which we are hugely thankful for. It's relatively unknown, but all the locations at EP are available for hire. Contact the club for more info.

In this very special episode, we celebrate the life and career of John Sainty – a man whose influence reached far beyond the clubs he played for and coached.

From his early days as a player at Tottenham Hotspur, Bournemouth, and Aldershot, to coaching roles at Manchester City, Burnley, Chester, and of course Stockport County, John left his mark on English football.

Joining us to share memories and stories are:

📚 Neil Vacher, Bournemouth FC historian and author of John’s autobiography

❤️ Lindsay Sainty, John’s widow

We hear about his belief that “the Spurs way was the way”, and his work with players like:
