The death toll of the coronavirus in China has risen to 170 and almost 8,000 confirmed cases in the country. The virus has officially spread to all parts of mainland China and 19 countries outside of China have reported confirmed cases of the virus.  But what exactly is the coronavirus and what do we need to know about the infectious disease?
