We're on the home stretch with our special Science of Happiness series, and this week we're looking more deeply into how our thoughts affect out sense of well-being.
There's two main themes this week:
1. Self Compassion: does this present a better alternative to a culture that is fixated on self esteem? Also, is the stern inner critic the best way to push ourselves forward (spoiler alert....no it's not :P)
2. Flow: finding a balance between challenge and competence. Some great implications for our education system too!
