of the notable stories that hit the wing’s social media over the past month. We welcome back our ‘Five

Questions’ segment with a quick interview with the Inspector General’s Office. We get a little history for the month of May, and of course, the monthly Command Message.

In this month's Seagull we hear from wing Command Chief, CMSgt Christopher Hirl, about focusing on personal and professional development, caring for others and reflecting on a 38 year career. We learn a little bit about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., get a few of the latest stories from the wing and even a clip from our most recent Chevrons podcast!

In this episode of the Seagull we hear from Col Brian McCaffrey about combat wings, we learn about innovation efforts in our wing, we get the latest on the new Warrant Officer program and we get a clip from the latest episode of Chevrons regarding holiday resilience.

In this month's Seagull, 102 IW Commander, Colonel Wendy Armijo presents the wing's monthly command message, we hear from personnel from the 102nd Medical Group as they prepare to compete at the USAF's annual Medic Rodeo. We hear from the 101st Intelligence Squadron as they take on an open ranks inspection in honor of the 100th anniversary of their legendary unit emblem, the seagull. All that and more on this episode!

In this month's Seagull podcast, Command Chief Christopher Hirl covers the origins, history and importance of recognizing Armed Forces Day. We interview an Airman who ran back to back marathons in Boston and London. We hear from the CSAF on the great power competition and we get a clip from the most recent Chevrons podcast!

In this month's program we hear from three individual shops about their duties and responsibilities in our AFSC Spotlight series. We get a clip from our most recent Chevrons episode with Chaplain Yi and we get a refresher on motorcycle safety. First though, we hear from 102nd Mission Support Group Deputy Commander, Lt. Col. Beth Crouch as she tells us about the Month of the Military Child.

In this month's program we cover mentorship during a conversation with two Senior NCOs from the 102nd Mission Support Group. This month we celebrate Black History. We hear from Tuskegee Airman, Thomas Newton, about his experiences serving as an enlisted Airman in the mid-1940's. With President's day right around the corner, we present a rare recording from 1913; an excerpt of George Washington's Farewell address (spoiler, it's not actually him speaking). But first, in this month's 102nd Intelligence Wing Command Message, Col. Stephen Dillon of the 253rd Cyberspace Engineering Installation Group speaks about new Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. David Allvin's first letter to Airmen.
