Hebrews 2:1-4 cautions us to “listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” Why do we drift? Because it is so easy to do. Overconfidence, weariness, and the lure of immediate gratification all work to pull us away from walking ever closer to our Lord. The way back is to remember Him.
