The US Securities and Exchange Commission has continuously chosen "Regulation through Enforcement," as opposed to providing clear guidelines for all things Web3. This week, the SEC settled a case against Kim Kardashian over a paid Instagram post that promoted a cryptocurrency. Details are still unknown, but any are speculating it is over the cryptocurrency "Apecoin" that was created to support the BAYC ecosystem.
