On this episode of The Second Act Podcast, I take an opportunity to call upon someone I worked with in my career whose resume couldn’t possibly state how involved and varied his life experiences were to that point.  Bill Down has enjoyed a long successful career in the oilfield that was preceded by a long and successful career in the restaurant industry.  He shares the genesis of that choice, the events that lead to his escape, for lack of a better term, to the oilfield and the leadership style he has honed to this point in his career.  It was a fun chance to share an “anyone can do it” message, as Bill has no superpowers, just a will to be great and an inability to settle.
