When Jesus ascended into Heaven, that began the “end of the age.” There will never be another period in the relationship between God and man. Jesus’ first appearance on earth was to create a way to save man from sin, His second appearance will be to bring home those who are faithfully awaiting His return. The world may forget or ignore that He will return, but we cannot afford to be lax in our preparations for that coming day.
