​Sunday Sermon by Kevin Jensen — In a story of Jesus healing a blind man, Mark presents us with a conundrum: Why did Jesus' first attempt to heal the man result in an incomplete healing? The teachings that follow present a second riddle: Why would Jesus the Messiah have to suffer and die? With these questions, Mark begins to open our eyes to see not only who Jesus is, but the beginning of what it means to follow him, in both suffering and hope. Text: Mark 8:22 to 9:1
