The Secret Place

In this episode, we're studying Psalm 143 together and learning from David's response during one of the most difficult seasons of his life. Rather than remaining focused on his suffering, David intentionally remembered God's faithfulness, meditated on His works, sought the Lord, and built his prayers upon God's unchanging character.

We'll unpack what Psalm 143 teaches about trusting God when your spirit grows faint and discover practical, biblical encouragement during uncertainty, discouragement, and waiting.

If you've been longing to deepen your prayer life and strengthen your confidence in God's faithfulness, this study is for you.

Scripture: Psalm 143:1–12

Have you accepted where you are in life but stopped expecting God to move?

In this episode, we explore the difference between true acceptance and despondency—a subtle loss of hope that can develop after seasons of grief, disappointment, or delayed promises. Through Scripture, we'll discover how to place our hope not in outcomes, but in the unchanging character of God.

If you've been struggling to believe God can still work in your present circumstances, this conversation is for you.

 Scriptures Discussed:
• 2 Corinthians 12:7-10
• Psalm 42:1-5
• Romans 5:1-5
• Psalm 139:23-24
• Psalm 130:5

In this episode, we explore the miracle of Jesus feeding the five thousand through Matthew 14:13-21 and John 6:1-13.

We'll discuss:

• The faith and surrender of the boy with the loaves and fish
• Why Jesus sometimes asks questions He already knows the answer to (John 6:5-6)
• What it means to truly pray, "Your will be done"
• Identifying the "fishes and loaves" God may be asking you to surrender
• Following Jesus' example of withdrawing to seek the Father (Matthew 14:13)

Whether God is asking you to surrender fear, control, a relationship, a dream, or something you've been holding onto for security, my prayer is that this episode encourages you to trust Him more deeply.

In this episode, we dive into 1 Peter 2:2 and explore what it truly means to “crave pure spiritual milk.” Scripture often uses “milk” to describe spiritual immaturity—so why does Peter encourage believers to desire it?

Together, we look at the historical context of 1 Peter, the difference between spiritual infancy and spiritual nourishment, and why spiritual nourishment is essential for growing into the fullness of salvation. From rebuke to a call to maturity, this episode unpacks how craving God’s Word transforms us, strengthens us, and draws us into deeper intimacy with Jesus.

If you’ve been longing to grow, hunger for holiness, or understand what it looks like to mature in your faith—this episode is for you.

In this episode, we lean into the powerful words of Jesus: “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on, sin no more.” Many believers still wrestle with the tension between God’s grace and their ongoing struggle with sin. Are we truly crucifying the flesh daily, or are we unknowingly clinging to patterns and behaviors God has already called us out of?

Together, we’ll talk about what it really means to pursue holiness in a world that is constantly pulling us back toward old habits. My prayer is that the Lord would speak directly to your heart as you listen, bringing conviction where needed and encouragement where you feel weak.

If you’ve been struggling, feeling stuck, or wondering why sin seems to have such a strong grip, this episode is for you.
