They found that by occupying the high-street they are not only able to service guests better but also gain the trust of owners that would not think of placing their properties on Airbnb or other channels otherwise. In terms of tech they outsource everything to specialised software companies that connect to each other – and one of them, the yield manager Outswitch, they bought earlier in 2019.
