Self responsibility has it's root in self awareness, humble accountability. A good communicator can admit to wrongdoing for example, because they know who they are inside and can stand by that, also in moments of short coming. Communication means FIRST being honest with yourself. How do you want to get to know others if you haven't a clue who you are? 

Explore your ethics, research your weaknesses. Take heart in your words. Speak from a space of self accountability and love. We are human and we are not perfect. Words are famous for falling short of truly articulating  the IMMENSITY of LIFE-DEATH-LOVE-LOSS-
