In this episode I’m chatting with Richard James - a private investigator, surveillance specialist, and founder of his company RIVICA Investigations & Covert Solutions. 

Richard works with anyone from anxious business owners who are concerned they could be the target of damaging bogus claims from employees, to worried spouses suspecting their partner’s infidelity. In fact, Richard said that one of the recurring queries he encounters involves accessing messages, emails, and social media chats on a partner's phone. 

Richard started off in the South Wales police force, working his way up to becoming Detective Sergeant. He has also been a Surveillance Manager within various states across Australia, and spent 5 years being contracted to the Qatar Ministry of Interior to provide specialist training to Qatar Police. 

Today, Richard is an expert private investigator and founder of RIVICA. Established in 2014, RIVICA aims to provide a complete range of investigative solutions. His team of experts works across Australia and even trains police and military teams in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. From investigations, to training, to products, they tailor their response to fully address each client’s requirement.
