Of no doubt, most people will admit that selfishness is the cause of all the unhappiness in the world, and they fall under the soul destroying delusion that it is somebody else’s selfishness and not their own. The truth is, when you’re willing to admit that all your unhappiness is as a result of your own selfishness, I tell you with all sincerity and alacrity that you’re not far from  the gates of paradise. But so long as you’re convinced that it is the selfishness of others that’s always robbing you of joy, so much will you remain a prisoner to your self created purgatory.

Happiness is that inward state of perfect satisfaction of joy and peace and from which all desires are eliminated. The satisfaction which results from gratified desires are brief, delusional and remains in an illusionary self created prison. To be honest with you, it’s oftentimes fold by it’s increase in demand for gratification.
