We all have nastiness in our closet that we don’t want anyone to know about.

We’ve sworn to ourselves that we are taking it to our grave, not knowing that it will help get us to the grave sooner.

Not knowing that inherited family trauma is a real thing, and that by not discussing it with our children, we are priming them to repeat cycles that we just wish would end.
