In today's episode I invited Misty Laboy.

In today’s episode I am going to talk about victim mentality and how to take control of our life.

The topic came to me the other day when I listened to a lady talking about her life. 

I was just a silent listener at a party so I could not step in with my coaching hat on…

So here I was calmly listening to her talking about her life.

She always wanted to be successful and have a career. 

But then she had a baby. This baby was the reason that she never studies, never became a professor, never had a career. 

WELL, what can I say. 

This baby is now 65 and has his own children. 

Believe me, I was very tempted to offer my opinion. But I bit my lip… : )

2023 DID NOT START OFF the way I had anticipated… 

BUT – it all happens for a reason right? ; )

This episode I am offering you some powerful questions that I use to get into the vibration and mode of setting intentions for the future.

As you know from previous posts and mails, I am a great believer in the law of attraction. 

I have already attracted several things into my life and know that we influence our life by the way we think and how we set our intentions.  

I don’t only write down my goals and visions around the NEW YEAR but all year around. 

However, it’s the perfect time to ‘draw’ the BIG PICTURE around the NEW YEAR. 

The process of writing down my goals and while doing this envisioning them as if they were real and already here is what makes them come true. 

It is proven, that if we do this more frequently – preferably daily – we get into the energy that it takes to attract it. 

Now, pick up your favourite pen and some paper or a nice journal and tune yourself into these 10 questions:

1. How do I want to feel? 
2. What can I do to feel that way? 
3. What is my priority this year?
4. I want to read and learn more about…
5. One place on this planet I will go to this year is…
6. My biggest most challenging goal I’d love to make happen is… 
7. One brilliant thing I want to do this year is…
8. This is what my dream year looks like… 
9. Once I give myself permission to go after my visions, this is what I will accomplish over the next year…
10. By the end of 2023 I will celebrate…
    
    

Your thoughts determine:

·      How much money you earn each month.

·      What your partnership looks like or relationships to friends and family.

·      How you feel within your body. 

·      Do you treat your body with respect? 

·      Do you like your body image? 

·      Or do you put yourself down every day when you look into the mirror.

I went on my first diet when I was only 10 years old.  
10 years…imagine that!

Looking at pictures now I have no idea how I could even think that I was overweight. I guess I was simply copying my mother. She has always been on a diet. 

But it’s not about the objective reality in that moment.  
It is about our perception of our body when we look into the mirror.

There are two aspects that play a role when it comes to our body image. 
The conscious actions and the unconscious aspect. 

• Based on your past experiences you might have created an unconscious belief that is still active within you and no matter what you do - it will stand in your way to losing weight.
• Obviously the nutrition you choose is relevant, as  well as exercising. 

9 tools that will contribute to your sustainable weight loss

1.    Listen to Your Self-talk

Self-respect and self-acceptance are the cornerstones to achieving your optimal weight.

By talking to your body in a positive, loving manner—the way you would speak to an innocent child—you can rewire your subconscious brain. 

Do this every day!

Over time, your subconscious will align with your conscious desire to lose weight.

 2.   Write YOUR New Story

Or maybe you want to make better food choices so that you have more energy.

Focus on the emotion that you feel!

3.   Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

4.   Meditate
