The Seminole wars are an interesting piece of American History. Part of the reason Florida became part of the United States was the War with the Seminole Tribe. They were fierce fighters and held their ground for a long time. The wars are generally divided into 2 wars and some say 3 but not really. By the 3rd one the vast majority had left Florida.
