Women need to support each other and often when it comes to supporting friends going through abuse, it can be really tricky. After a rocky conversation this morning with a friend I realized giving advice is a sensitive topic and must be done carefully. I took some time to reflect and come up with a solid way to get the message across to our friends in need without seeming judgemental.
