“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”

I. THE PEACEKEEPER
a. The peacekeeper avoids conflict at all costs
b. The peacekeeper places temporary feelings over lasting fellowship
c. The peacekeeper desires peace without effort

II. THE PEACEMAKER
a. The peacemaker understands that conflict is unavoidable
b. The peacemaker does not place feelings above fellowship
c. The peacemaker understands that peace requires effort

III. THE PEACEMAKING GOD
a. The peacemaking God makes peace in our salvation
b. The peacemaking God makes peace in our sin
c. The peacemaking God makes peace in our suffering
