In Revelation 2-3 Jesus initiated 7 letters to 7 specific churches. This would’ve been within 50-60 years after His death and resurrection. Jesus selected these churches knowing they would give insight into preparing the future Church. Within these 7 letters Jesus makes clear what life is all about. God defines Christianity as all about an authentic relationship with Him and learning to love Him with everything.
