Clark dives into the Biblical accounts of the two thieves on the cross during Jesus' crucifixion, and the process we Christians go through leading up to conversion. --We were totally dead in our sins, having no desire for a relationship with God. But through Him, we've been made alive- we've been made new creatures in Christ---The thief at the cross is a perfect illustration of our total depravity, our total inability to seek God on our own, to do any good based upon what is within ourselves- how God, through His grace and providence must open our eyes, soften our hearts, and make us anew, leading us to trust and rely completely on Christ for our salvation---A beautiful illustration indeed-
