I have had to surrender old mindset and allow the Lord to change the way I think and the way I understand certain things. I previously released a Podcast Freedom from Anger (please go back and listen to it if you haven't). I was freed from anger but had to fully step out of the old way of thinking. Learning how to let go and trust God. Once I let go of my expectations God's promise was released in a different area. I hope my testimony will help you to let go of old mindsets and ways of thinking and to step into the new things God has for you.
