The offseason is underway, which means it’s time for my way-too-early 2026–27 NHL division standings predictions! In this episode, I rank every team in the Atlantic, Metropolitan, Central, and Pacific Divisions and explain why I have each team finishing where they do. Of course, a lot can still change throughout the rest of the offseason, but these are my predictions based on how teams look right now. Do you agree with my rankings, or do you think I’m completely wrong? Let me know your biggest hot take and how you think the standings will finish. Thanks for listening, and make sure to follow the podcast so you don’t miss the next episode, where I’ll be making more 2026–27 predictions, including playoff predictions, awards, and Stanley Cup picks!
The Carolina Hurricanes just won the Stanley Cup, and people are already acting like they’re unbeatable. But are they really? In Episode 1 of The Sharp Take, I break down Carolina’s Cup run, the biggest overreactions, and why I’m not ready to call them untouchable just yet. Plus, we compare Carolina to the Florida Panthers and talk about what it actually takes to build a dynasty in the NHL.
