We all know people that in the past have been part of our faith circle that changed after a while. At one time their faith seemed to be on track, they held onto the core beliefs of Scripture and they shared our passion for church and for the mission of the church. But then they changed. They grew cold and distanced themselves from God’s Truth. 

Many no longer hold on to Biblical truth. Sometimes it seems as if everyone has his/her own interpretation of the Bible. It is not only the wolves (false teachers) who are to blame. Often there are real problems with the sheep themselves.

Galatians 1: 6 – 9 is key Scripture in this episode, “6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!”
