Season Three of the BHHcast starts out with a somewhat unexpected guest.  Member of the Flock (loyal listener of the BHHcast), Mark Kulmer, joins your shepherds Jamie Bendall, Adam Haigh and Jamie Hernan to discuss an event that happened way back in 2013.  Why now?  Well, back in 2013, Mark, his wife Ali and co-host of the BHHcast Adam Haigh had an encounter with Charles Barkley, Laurence Fishburne and a mystery man in an orange suit at the Four Seasons hotel bar in Atlanta, Georgia that ended up with Mark and Chuck trading shirts.  The story went viral recently as Charles Barkley's co-hosts on NBA on TNT - Ernie Johnson, Jr., Shaquille O'Neal and Kenny Smith - brought up the story to question Barkley's sincerity when he said he didn't like the idea of swapping jerseys after a game.  @NBAonTNT tweeted about the story with a video (Link) and Mark found himself in the spotlight once again.  The full video of the guys on NBA on TNT discussing the event (on Ernie Johnson, Jr.'s Neat-O-Stat of the Night) can be found here.

But the BHHcast wants its sheep to have the whole story, including the fact that the catalyst of the whole shirt swap might not actually have been our guest Mark or Charles Barkley.  Rather, be sure to also check out Episode Two of Season Three to hear directly from Mark's wife Ali Kulmer on how the whole incident actually went down. 

Mark also talks to us about his amazing daughters, Isabella and Ava.  Isabella is an elite level ballerina - a Royal Ballet School International Scholar (Instagram).  Mark, Ali, Isabella and Ava have lived around the world as they follow opportunities for Isabella.  Your shepherds ponder whether or not Ava might actually be an international spy. Mark talks about how he and Ali strive to keep life as normal as possible for their kids as they encounter such unique experiences.  

The BHHcast reached out to representatives of Charles Barkley and Laurence Fishburne to invite them to be guests on the show to discuss the story.  The representatives of Charles Barkley initially responded but did not get back to us with a yes or no so who knows - maybe we'll have an update to this episode with an interview with Sir Charles.  Laurence Fishburne's reps gave us a hard, but polite, pass.  The man in the orange suit remains unidentified.
