In this episode, we’ll have a conversation with Adele Tevlin, the founder of Adele Wellness, a premium weight loss consultancy for high performance professionals with demanding lifestyles. Adele works with CEOs and C-suite executives to help them push past their BS in order to produce profound results. She's also a behavioral expert and pattern interrupter that uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, neuroscience and psychology to ensure that clients achieve their transformation and breakthroughs, and stay committed to the things that they're trying to achieve in their lives. She's a mom to an almost four year old boy and is engaged to marry the love of her life in June. Adele specializes in helping people see their blind spots, and break their behaviors and routines in order to get out of their own way so they can accomplish their goals.
She’s going to talk to us about how our inner voice (the ego) can take over our entire lives if we allow it to, and almost always, not in a good way. Our narrative is always a part of the ego part of our mind (The limbic system) which tells us we are not enough, we are not safe, we need to have more comparison, judgment, or fear, and many other things. But the more we work on ourselves, and improve our mindsets, become more aware and mindful, we are able to quiet that voice and it becomes more of a whisper.
That way we are able to still take action on things even when we hear that voice. Unfortunately for a lot of people, they don’t work on themselves, and so they tend to believe that what their ego tells them they are is who they really are. And that’s what Adele seeks to change in people’s lives. She will dive into how our subconscious patterning is formed between the ages of zero to seven, how that ends up shaping our identity, the way it affected her in her own life, and how she overcame it. It’s going to be such an eye-opening episode that will help us all rewrite our limiting beliefs about ourselves so we can push forward with confidence and achieve greatness in every part of our lives.
