On this week’s episode our hosts talk about the summer Olympics and what sports they enjoy watching the most as Paris 2024 kicks off later this month. X then shares some information about a company called ICON who is building cement homes in Austin, Texas and has partnered with NASA to start building on the moon. Kim’s skeptical about this company, especially because the earth is burning, and climate change is real. Kim then shares the history of the middle finger that she learned from Facebook. On this week’s episode our hosts start off by talking about the next tattoos that they want to get. Kim tries to convince X to get her face tattooed on him while X low key dodges that suggestion. Then, our hosts get into deep conversation about a book that X just finished called “Trejo, My Life of Crime, Redemption & Hollywood” by Danny Trejo with Donal Logue. X and Kim’s earliest memories of Danny Trejo are seeing him in movies like Desperado and Spy Kids so they learn many things about Danny’s life that they didn’t expect to learn. Our hosts wrap up this week’s episode by talking about Charlotte the Stingray and Nickelback’s documentary on Netflix called “Hate to Love: Nickelback.

Our favorite hosts are back with season 2 of the Sidekey Podcast! While our hosts were on vacation they watched a documentary on Disney Plus called "Hawaiian: The Legend of Eddie Aikau" (2013) and although X grew up hearing stories of Eddie, this documentary was very eye opening for our hosts. The significance of Eddie Aikau in the surfing world will be felt for generations to come.

Our hosts also bring back one of their favorite segments, "book talk" with Kim's latest bookclub book "Keep it in the Family" by John Marrs and no this book is not about what you think it is. Do your 4th of July plans ever include watching the Nathan's Hotdog Eating Contest? If they do, you won't be seeing Joey Chestnut this year. Our hosts spent a total of 4 nights at the Four Queens on Fremont Street and they break down the weekend in their way for listeners as they discuss everything from walking Fremont street to crying on the first night of the festival because Iam Tongi, is simply amazing.
