It was February 28, 1993, when over 70 heavily armed ATF agents raided the Branch Davidian compound at Mt. Carmel, outside of Waco, Texas. The raid was weapons-related, and the ATF knew the David Koresh and the Branch Davidians were heavily armed. A gun battle ensued with deaths and wounded reported.
