The Significance of the Tower of Babel

This town was man trying to assert his will and compete with God. This was the same mentality that Satan had.


Babel lives on today. It is man’s foolishness and pride in thinking he can compete with Almighty God.


The result in fighting against God is defeat and confusion.


Abram is a stark contrast to Nimrod:

  • He was a man of faith
  • He was a godly father
  • He was a friend of God
