If true love is a manifestation of true Christian faith, are there any boundaries? Shouldn't we just love everyone and everything? Not according to the Apostle John. He gives a strong warning to be discerning and diligent. Not every relationship is noble, not every teaching can be true. In John's day there were those who would try to undermine the church and dismantle its core beliefs; he called them anti-christs. And the same kind of thing happens today. Should we be surprised? No. Should we be prepared? Absolutely.
