She attempts to commandeer the baker's transport cart, but is intercepted by Jasper, whose gingerbread cathedral has failed due to an unexplained structural vibration. Finn, the apprentice baker, is distracted from his urgent errand to the Abandoned Sugar Silo. Jasper convinces Clara that stabilizing the lighting platform atop the Town Square Spruce using ice from Miles's workshop is the priority, as a flawed lighting sequence would render her chime useless anyway. The group heads towards the Old Ice-Sculpting Workshop, leaving the sugar mystery temporarily unresolved.
