This produces a single, pure chime which momentarily stabilizes the gingerbread structure. However, the stabilization is fleeting, as the crimson ribbon on the castle immediately begins to fade to gray, indicating the resonance drain continues. Realizing the need for a sustained thermal buffer, Poppy decides they must locate the heat-retaining clock weight felt, the same material others in town are searching for, to protect the display before the next structural failure occurs, forcing them toward the subterranean infrastructure.
