In this episode we pay tribute to John Lear who recently passed away aged 84. John was the GB and England coach for over 40 years, coaching at 9 Olympic Games and 10 Commonwealth Games! Anyone involved in Weightlifting right now has undoubtedly been influenced, at least indirectly by John and we think he deserves to have a BWL annual award renamed after him going forward.
