The Six Elements of a Fitness Practice

I was out running hill sprints and started thinking about how I structure my training in regards to the frequency of these 6 key pillars:

  1. Nutrition
  • Movement
  • Range of Motion
  • Strength
  • Power
  • Intensity
  • Basically, I was deconstructing the frequency I "train" each pillar or how often it is incorporated into my life. This isn't necessarily a pyramid where the lower layer must be complete before adding the next, but it certainly would not be a bad goal to aim for. You can use this template to think about where you could improve in your own practice - I hope it's useful.
