From bad versions of the bible like the slave bible and we the people bibles to getting to know what the mark of the beast really is we show that lifting the values of your home nation over the values of the Kingdom of God is opposite how we as Christians are called to live. In an idolatrously political climate it can be an unpopular truth to remind ourselves of but if we're going to serve our King well we have to consider ourselves as foreigners in our own times so we can better bring the truth and life of the Spirit of Christ to bear in our cultures.
