Sloths live their lives in trees because all their most dangerous predators are on the ground. However, once a week they make a slow climb to the ground to poop. It is an unnecessarily dangerous dump. Because they only defecate once a week they could expel as much as a third of their body weight in dump. This dangerous game is a complete mystery.
